Kirra forms part of the spectacular southern tip of the Gold Coast with its rocky headlands, fabulous beaches and plenty of parks and walkways for you to enjoy.  This area has been a popular holiday destination for over a century and continues to provide the perfect environment to relax..

Kirra Beach Apartments are less than five minutes from the Gold Coast Airport and Gold Coast campus SCU (Southern Cross University) by car and within ten minutes walk, along the beachfront to Coolangatta, the gateway between Queensland and New South Wales.   
Tweed Heads is only a 5-minute drive away with its selection of supermarkets, cinemas, variety stores, the huge Twin Towns RSL Club and Tweed Bowls Club. 
John Flynn (Private) and Tweed (Public) Hospitals are a 10-minute drive away making our location ideal for patients to convalesce after operations or for families to stay whilst visiting in-patients.

Adjacent to our property is a small shopping centre with 24-hour convenience store, restaurant, chemist, hot bread shop, hairdresser, beauty salon, clothing shops and a seafood outlet.  Whilst Kirra Hotel, Kirra Surf Lifesaving Club and seafront restaurants are a short walk away.

TRANSPORT
Surfside Buses run regular services along the tourist strip to theme parks, Gold Coast Airport, train stations and shopping centres from the bus stop adjacent to the shopping centre.

GOLD COAST AIRPORT
Gold Coast International Airport is located less than 5 minutes drive at Tugun and offers flights to/from other major cities in Australia and around the world.

HOW TO GET TO KIRRA BEACH APARTMENTS
Traveling south on the M1 or on the Gold Coast Highway take the old Tugun by-pass and bear left just past the Gold Coast Airport onto Musgrave Street and follow the beach road.  Approximately 100m after the mini-roundabout turn right at the traffic lights, by a small shopping complex, into Douglas Street. Kirra Beach Apartments are located 50 metres on the left.
When travelling north head past Tweed on the M1 then follow directions to Gold Coast Airport and turn right at the traffic lights by the airport, bear left and follow the directions above.  
If using sat-nav enter Coolangatta as the town rather than Kirra.
