Operating 7 days a week from 8 am to 5 pm, with the highlight being the lorikeet feeding early each day and late each afternoon.

Anzac Day 2018
Break out the milk, rum and biscuits for Anzac Day 2018! This year, Anzac Day falls on a Wednesday, yet there will be many people using the day to remember those who have fallen. On the Gold Coast, we are fortunate to have the opportunity to support our fallen heroes and ANZAC day veterans at numerous events. It is a day to remember and honour the many men and women who participated in wars and conflicts around the world and symbolizes the courage of our many Australian & New Zealand soldiers. Many of the local SLSC, RSL clubs and parks hold services on the Gold Coast. This year we encourage you to get involved and show your support. Currumbin is only 10 minutes from us here at Kirra Beach Apartments and is renowned for the breathtaking ceremonies they hold each year. The day begins with an early morning Remembrance march. The Dawn Service then commences at 5am at Elephant Rock and at 6:30 there is a gunfire breakfast at the Currumbin RSL. Buses will be running from 3:30 am from Currumbin RSL and The Pines shopping centre until the dawn service. Clear your Calendars, Cooly Rocks On is nearly here! Head down to Coolangatta on the 6-10 of June and check out Australia’s favourite nostalgia festival. With events such as the Billycart Grand Prix, the ever popular Vintage car display, the ever evolving Poodle & Pugs parade, the highly anticipated street parade and of course, Miss Cooly Rocks On.
