BOOK NOW FOR SPRING SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
‘WINTER IS (NO LONGER) COMING’ – NOW’S THE TIME TO ‘SPRING’ INTO ACTION!

The cold might have well and truly set in, but right NOW is a red hot time to BOOK your upcoming SPRING HOLIDAY at Kirra Beach Apartments!
You might be wondering, ‘isn’t it a bit early to make my booking for September/October…!?’ Absolutely not! With the Gold Coast’s popularity soaring to an all-time high after the Commonwealth Games, occupancy rates and room tariffs alike are steadily on the rise, with availability across the entire region becoming increasingly limited for the remainder of 2018.
You know what they say… All good holidays come to those who DON’T wait!
Southerners, spring is the perfect time for
you to escape the frost, elude the dreaded seasonal depression and flaunt (to your envious neighbours) that healthy afterglow that can only be acquired from a stroll along the beach under the very first rays of spring warmth.
Locals and semi-locals, it’s also the perfect time to treat yourself and your loved ones to a mini-break, before the madness of the silly season fully sets in – a time when you can simply enjoy one another’s company without having to ‘do’ anything.
If this sounds like bliss and you don’t want to miss out, then head to our website at www.kirrabeachapartments.com.au and click ‘book now’ or phone 07 5523 7900 to make your reservation. Don’t forget to click on our ‘special deals’ to access some highly competitive packages that are only available for a short time.
COOLANGATTA GOLD
THAT’S GOLD!
With so many gold medals won by our Australian team at the Commonwealth Games recently, you’d think the Gold Coast didn’t have room for any more bling!

Of course, the Coolangatta Gold is an absolute institution in these parts… and, from medals to Metre Maids, we do love a touch of metallic on the GC!
For anyone who’s been living under a rock and hasn’t heard of the classic 1984 film dramatization that launched the Gold as we know it, the competition itself is considered ‘one of the most challenging endurance races in surf sports’.
The original event was actually the brainchild of filmmaker, Peter Schreck. Inspired by the talents of ironman legend, Grant Kenny, Schreck created the race purely to serve as a dramatic ending to his film. For the sake of realism, the race was set up as a genuine – not staged – event. It was so well received that it was subsequently taken over by Surf Life Saving Australia and the rest, as they say, is history (presumably as written on the walls of the Surf World Gold Coast museum).
Partnered by Tourism & Events QLD and Coates Hire and hosted by Surf Life Saving Australia, the Coolangatta Gold 2018 will take place on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 October. ‘Ironmen’ and ‘ironwomen’ will complete an almost 42km long course (there’s also a 21km short course and 1650m youth course) along the Coolangatta to Broadbeach shore, competing for $35 000 in prize money for the long course category alone. Each race will include surfski, running, swimming and paddleboard legs.
Guests of Kirra Beach Apartments will have prime viewing of this FREE quintessential Gold Coast event. So pack your best budgie smugglers and BOOK NOW for the October 6-7 weekend! Visit www.kirrabeachapartments.com.au and click ‘book now’ or phone 07 5523 7900 to make your reservation. Don’t forget to click on our ‘special deals’ to snap up your very own ‘golden’ opportunity!
